Implementation projects

Hands-on engagement

Design and implementation alongside your team. Agree on acceptance, review progress through working changes, and transfer the understanding needed to maintain the result.

THE SITUATION

When this is useful

A sufficiently clear product or engineering change: an AI application, retrieval path, evaluation capability, integration, or improvement to the development workflow.

THE RESULT

What you leave with

Working software, evidence of the supported behavior, and a usable engineering handoff.

What the work includes

  • A defined implementation boundary with supported cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and implementation in reviewable increments, with checks appropriate to the agreed behavior.
  • A handoff covering design decisions, operation, recovery, dependencies, and remaining limits.

Scope boundaries

  • Unbounded feature development or requirements added without a scope review.
  • Ongoing operational support unless it is separately included in the agreement.

What you contribute

  • A decision owner, an accountable maintainer, and access to the relevant environment.
  • Representative inputs, domain review, and time for acceptance and handoff.

How we assess completion

The agreed behavior is demonstrated against acceptance criteria, remaining limits are recorded, and the receiving team can operate and change the affected system.

AGREEING THE WORK

Clear before we start.

What determines the fee

The question, scope, relevant system paths, available evidence, access requirements, and depth of implementation or review. Fees are quoted in USD. Project totals and monthly advisory fees are agreed for the scope and capacity required.

What we agree before starting

The deliverables, acceptance criteria, responsibilities, fee and currency, schedule, payment terms, and treatment of any third-party costs. These are agreed for your engagement.

When the work changes

New findings may change the useful next step. We review the effect on scope, fee, and timing together before committing to additional work.
